Payment, replacement and refunds.
Same rules for every family. We share them before you pay.
Salary and payment
- If there is a salary, you pay it straight to the caregiver on the 1st of every month.
- If care starts in the middle of a month, you pay salary only for the days worked (counting 30 days in a month).
- Please don’t pay salary in advance. We can’t take responsibility for money given to caregivers in advance.
Replacement
- You can ask for a new caregiver any time while your plan is active.
- We send a new caregiver within 2 working days. If we can’t, we refund the fee for the unused part of your plan.
Changing or continuing
- Move to a longer plan any time. Just pay the difference.
- On plans longer than 3 months, the caregiver can continue after the plan ends if you both agree.
If a caregiver doesn’t start
- If the caregiver doesn’t join on day 1 or day 2, you get a full refund or a replacement.
- If a caregiver leaves in between, you pay salary only for the days they worked.
Are your nannies verified? Do you do police verification?+
We check their ID and address (Aadhaar), look at their past work, speak to their references and meet them in person. Police verification is available as an optional paid extra. We tell you if it has been done before you confirm.
Can I meet the nanny before I decide?+
Yes. You see suitable profiles and talk to the caregiver before you decide.
What if the caregiver is not right for us?+
We send a new caregiver within 2 working days while your plan is active. You’ll know the replacement rules before you pay.
Can I get a babysitter at short notice in Bangalore?+
Instant Booking is for 2 to 24 hours, from ₹250 an hour + GST. Send us a request and we look for someone free near you. Your booking is confirmed only when our team accepts it.
What work does a nanny do?+
We agree the duties before care starts. These can include feeding, play, keeping your child’s things clean, school routines and putting your child to sleep. Housework is not part of the job unless you agree it separately.
Are Japa, baby bathing and elder care medical services?+
No. These are care-at-home services, not medical treatment. Our caregivers are not nurses, unless we clearly offer you a trained nurse.
How much does a nanny cost in Bangalore?+
With ApnoKeCare, a 24-hour live-in nanny’s salary is ₹24,000–₹26,000 a month, paid straight to the caregiver, plus our plan fee from ₹8,999 + GST. Part-time nanny plans start at ₹6,999 + GST, and the salary depends on the hours you need. A babysitter at short notice starts at ₹250 an hour + GST. We tell you the full cost before care starts.
How much does a Japa maid cost in Bangalore?+
A Japa caregiver’s salary is ₹28,000–₹35,000 a month, depending on experience, paid straight to the caregiver. Our plan fee starts at ₹7,999 + GST for one month. Japa care is help at home for the mother and baby, not nursing or medical care.
How much does elderly care at home cost in Bangalore?+
Senior care plans start at ₹8,999 + GST. The caregiver’s salary depends on the hours and help needed, and we tell you the amount before you confirm.
